Row Mojo Brazil

In 2018, the World Rowing Federation collaborated with the Women’s Sport Network to publish a rowing guide for young girls. I contacted them to see if we could make a Portuguese version of the guide. We eventually signed a deal to translate and print copies in Brazil.

As of 2021, 26% of all registered rowers in the Brazilian Rowing Federation were women. However, the number of Junior girls registered to compete increased from 48 in 2018 to 132 in 2021.

The Row mojo guide helps clubs and coaches, who are mostly male, with information aimed at young girls that range from nutrition and body image to rowing specific exercises. We sent 500 copies to 20 rowing clubs in nine states. I was responsible for closing the deal, translation, copywriting and organizing the shipping process.
